Firsthand accounts of survivors from the deadly wildfires that devastated Maui in August 2023 are in part 2 of my documentary "Hell in Paradise" (part 1 here:
Includes dramatic video footage showing the chaotic evacuation of Lahaina as police blocked streets, forcing residents to abandon vehicles and jump into the ocean to escape the raging flames. Interviews with teens who escaped with their mother by swimming out to sea, a survivor who huddled under a wet blanket in a canal, and others who recount their harrowing stories of survival. The fast-moving wildfires leveled most of the historic town, killing over 100 people. It's the deadliest wildfire in over a century in the United States. Also we take a close look at the iconic 150-year-old banyan tree that had become a symbol of Lahaina. A heartbreaking look at the devastation from Hawai'i's worst wildfire disaster.
The evil knows no bounds, Brewer. I'm undecided if this was a retribution attack for something we did to China, an engineered attack to grab land, or just another example of never letting a crisis go to waste. The way the fireballs were travelling down the power lines indicates (to me at least) that whatever happened had a lot of plausible deniability. "See? It's just nature, nothing we can do." Then again maybe a DEW plasma shot do the same thing. It is not far removed from the same M.O. we see at play in mass shootings: engineer something organic that "just happens", and then benefit from the result.
I can't help but notice the "California Forever" city plans were 'leaked' just shortly after these Lahaina fires. Too coincidental in my book. It smells like the puppeteers trying to build a few utopian communities in two of their favorite locations.
I can’t believe it’s been a year since this happened. I do appreciate those who cover this topic and went above and beyond. 🙌🏼
